Overview
MissionMesh is a multi component edge computing system designed for indoor search and rescue operations.
Description
The system delivers four integrated components: a mission planner that ingests building floorplans, an ATAK plugin with live room status overlays, a mesh sensor network of ESP based nodes with organic communication extension, and a command and control layer supporting offline persistence and sync recovery.
MissionMesh emphasises low latency, resilient networking, and operator friendly interfaces rather than cloud dependence. While complex for a hackathon pitch, the system received strong positive feedback from industry and defence aligned attendees for its practical applicability.
